Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper speaks of human rights violations and political imprisonment to Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung in a private meeting at the APEC conference in Viet Nam on Friday, November 17. These concerns were articulated by an open letter to Mr. Harper from the Vietnamese Canadian community on October 20. They express appreciation for his presentation to the Communist government in a letter on November 18, 2006.
