The Vietnamese Student Union at UCLA presents:
"Raising our Voice: Democracy in Vietnam" Forum
When: Week 9 Wednesday, 6:30pm-9:00pm (March 7, 2007)
Where: Haines 220 at UCLA
Called "Raising our Voice: Democracy in Vietnam", the forum will feature four prominent Vietnamese activists representing the different emerging political parties and the newborn Vietnam Independent Labour Union.
These activists are also members of the Bloc 8406, a unified coalition of political parties and groups advocating for democracy reforms within Vietnam. The forum is focused on the increasing demand for political changes, democracy, and basic human rights inside the country.
