Congratulations to dissident poet Nguyen Chi Thien and his publisher Nguyen Ngoc Bich for the new, complete edition of Hoa Dia Nguc --over 700 poems -- as edited by the author himself. The first editions of Hoa Dia Nguc were published while he was imprisoned by the Communist regime of Vietnam (in the infamous Hoa Lo, or "Hanoi Hilton" central prison of Hanoi) and near death from starvation and cruel solitary confinement. Today Mr. Thien is an American citizen, and continues publishing, speaking, and writing to bring democracy to his homeland of Vietnam.
