Professor Jonathan Roth, who organized the program honoring the Republic of Vietnam at San Jose State University, is behind the podium at far left.

Dr. Le Huu Phu is standing next to him.  The honored veteran and prisoner is the photographer, Lt. Col. Nguyen Ngoc Hanh.  He was voted top ten among the Photographic Society of America (PSA) in 1968, when he was the official war photographer of South Vietnam.

Guests at the program included two people from Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren's office, Cindy Avita and Tiffany Dao.
