VC GO HOME This was the chant of the Vietnamese community demonstrators on the campus of De Anza Community College in Cupertino yesterday, February 21. The Vietnamese ambassador from the embassy in San Francisco was there trying to get support for the same exchange program of Vietnamese students and American students that was successfully protested by the San Jose Vietnamese Community in December with San Jose City College trustees. View Article  Candidate Bryan Do deserves the support of Vietnamese American voters for the District 4 San Jose election March 6 by Trinh Do
The qualifications of San Jose District 4 candidates are compared with their interests regarding the country of their heritage, Vietnam. Trinh Do, author of Saigon to San Diego, concludes that Hon Lien has business ties to the communist country which would prevent her from representing the interests of San Jose Vietnamese Americans. Bryan Cong Do, on the other hand, is firmly in support of the anticommunist Vietnamese American values.   more »
