Vietnam is seeking entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO). Cong Thanh Do of San Jose and Thuong 'Cuc" Foshee of California, both US citizens, are imprisoned in Vietnam. Mrs. Foshee has not been charged, and held since Sept. 8, 2005. Human rights leaders Vo Van Ai in Paris and Scott Johnson of the Montagnard Foundation have expressed the patronization of the world community by the Communist regime of Vietnam by releasing one or two political prisoners when many are still imprisoned.
