Smithsonian Insitution Exhibit opens in Washington D.C. on January 19, 2007

After many long journeys in the thirty years since Vietnamese people began immigration in substantial numbers to the USA, the heritage and culture of Vietnamese Americans is celebrated in a Heritage Project exhibition at the Smithsonian Institution opening on January 19, 2007.  The curator is Dr. Vu Pham, who was selected two years ago following a competition for proposals to prepare such a display.

Best wishes to the curator and the Asian Pacific American program at Smithsonian.  You can find more information at www.vietam.org
